The Svelda Abbiocco takes its name from the particular, delicious drowsiness that
follows contentment — and builds a cushion entirely around it. A round, deep-set pouf with no
seams to interrupt the curl, no buttons to press into a resting hip, Abbiocco reads less like a
pet cushion and more like a small, considered piece of furniture that happens to invite a cat
into it.
Cut from our Cashmere Blend — 90% virgin wool, 10% Grade-A cashmere — Abbiocco is built for the
cat that has decided, definitively, not to move. The blend is ethereal and velvet-soft against a
resting paw, with enough loft to cushion aging joints without losing its shape over seasons of
use. The cover lifts away entirely on a hidden zip for cleaning, and carries a small SVELDA tag
sewn into the seam rather than stamped on top — a detail meant to be found, not advertised.
Left on a windowsill or at the foot of a bed, Abbiocco holds its round shape quietly, warm to
